Rules and Guidelines
Record a video of you, a choir, or a group of friends performing the Hail Mary (written by Steven C. Warner.) The performance may be sung, instrumental, or both. Though the melody of the song should remain the same, we encourage you to be creative and use your own artistic expression when putting together your rendition. You can add harmonies, instruments, and more! The musical score is attached below.
Recording and Uploading your Rendition
Before pressing "record" make sure your audio is working and your camera is filming horizontally or landscape. Begin your recording with a brief introduction of the performers before starting your rendition of the Hail Mary. When you are happy with your take, upload it to YouTube and name it,
NDNC Hail Mary Music Competition - YOUR NAME
This competition is open to all in Ireland and abroad and all lovers of music everywhere. Winners will be chosen based on musical interpretation, quality of performance and overall presentation.
Each entry must be accompanied by a release form (and parent/guardian form where appropriate). Fill out your release form and officially submit your rendition HERE.
