Remembrance: A Concert in Honour of the Faithful Departed

-

Location: Newman University Church

Flyer 1

This evening of prayer, reflection, and song will honour the faithful departed and hopefully provide a space to recognise that in our grief there can also be tremendous hope. The evening will feature music sung by our choir, the Newman Vocare Ensemble.

There will be refreshments in our church atrium after. All are welcome!

Our “Remembrance” service will be free and open to the public. After the service we will be accepting donations to benefit Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services.

By living out their core values of human dignity, compassion, justice, quality, and advocacy, Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1879, continue its mission by providing, with loving care, high quality, person-centred health and social care services in the hospice and in the community. Their services of palliative care, rehabilitation, residency, and bereavement provide patients and their families with loving care, comfort, and dignity in all physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
