Walk Of Light 2022 Website Image

The Walk of Light is an annual pilgrimage or journey, undertaken by members of the many Christian traditions who worship in our city. We walk symbolically as darkness falls on a late afternoon in November, bearing lanterns that shine in the darkness. But behind the symbolism of light scattering the gloom, lies the gospel message of healing and hope that Christ, the light of the world, brings into our lives. As we consider our response as followers of Jesus to issues that concern us all, the impact of war, the economic and the environmental crises, we invite you to join us on our journey as people of faith, rooted in God, Creator of all that is, seen and unseen.

Into darkness, great light.

Procession beginning at 3:30pm in University Church, Saint Stephen's Green and ending in Trinity College Chapel.

This year's charity will be The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Any donations received will go towards the work carried out by this wonderful organisation.
