The Notre Dame-Newman Centre is pleased to announce a special event in conjunction with Field Day.
Seamus Deane will speak on Hannah Arendt’s concept of the right to have rights and its importance today. In addition, there will be poetry from Christiana Obaro, Jessica Traynor and Chiamaka Enyi-Amadi, and music performed by Neil Martin, Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill, Maighread Ní Dhomhnaill and Paddy Glackin.
The event takes place at University Church on Sunday, January 14, following the 6:15pm liturgy. It is free and open to the public. For more information, please see the press release below.
